AniMonday: Attack on Titan

Eren is being secreted away to the Survey Corps’ old HQ, I guess to train in secret and keep the crazies from killing him or something. We get to meet Levi’s squad, who must be elite for being under Bad-A Levi.

AniMonday: Attack on Titan

THEY CHANGED THE OPENING CREDIT MUSIC? Listen. This may not be a big deal to anyone else, but it really threw me off. I’m used to the music. I love the music. I’m missing the music. Sigh. Okay. Moving on.

The Military Police are NOT OKAY with having Eren amongst the people. They especially don’t want him to join the Survey Corps. Captain Levi is all about accepting the challenge of keeping Eren in line, but there’s a trial/inquisition/tribunal still to decide what’s to be done with him.

AniMonday: High School of the Dead

Hey All! Mel here! I’m jumping in here this will to talk about a series I discovered on Netflix. It’s called High School of the Dead and surprise, surprise it’s about zombies.

Since I powered through the first season in about 3 days can I can safely say I enjoyed it.  Now, I’ll be the first to say Anime isn’t something I watch a lot of, (Steph is still working on forgiving me for never having seen an episode of Sailor Moon.) but I’m working on expanding my horizons. I figured a show about zombies was a great place to start.

It starts by wasting no time with getting to the action. We see a zombie at the school gate and the virus takes no time to spread from there.  We watch the survivors battle their way from school to what they think is safety. One thing I really enjoyed about the series is the creators really thought about what would happen in an  apocalypse. That’s want usually what makes or brakes it for me. If an EMP goes of but the main group is still enjoying a relaxing TV show I’m out.

The end was kind of bitter sweet for me until I learned there is going to be another season in the fall (2013). I’m so looking forward to it! While I didn’t love everything (how many pantie shots do we really need?) I do think I’ll be watching more anime from here on out.

What kind of anime do you enjoy?

Kirk and Spock: Out and About

Remember how I said I would make random posts of these? Well here you go. I can say with assurance that my paper dolls were not the oddest thing at the bar that night. Wait for a table was really getting to some people.

What crazy things have you seen at the bar while waiting for a table?

AniMonday: Attack on Titan

This week on EVERYONE I LOVE DIES…well. dammit. I’m really distraught right now. I can’t even front. Like, I don’t even want to write this up because I am crying over MARCO. WHY, GOD, WHY? I don’t have the heart to sit here and blab inanely about this GD show. So here’s the briefest of brief rundowns I can give will I sob all over my keyboard.
