Meet Kirk

So I decided I needed a tailor’s ham and set out to make my own. Used a combo of this and this tutorial to make it. I used scraps to make the outside that just happened to be command gold and black.

A tailor’s ham is used in pressing curved seams like hats and busts.  So pair that with the colors, my only choice was to name it Kirk!

I stuffed him with shredded scrap fabric that took two days to cut it up small enough so there wouldn’t be any lumps. My mini helped with that part and loved doing it. Win Win!

I’ll let you know how it goes the first time I use him.
